Spring Showcase Dress Rehearsal

Dress rehearsal for the upcoming June showcase is scheduled for Saturday, June 10th at The Agnes Irwin School (West Wike Theater).  Dress rehearsal is organized so that parents and students are not required to stay at the theater all day.  Instead of running dress rehearsal in show order, we have set up time slots by teacher so that students are only required to attend during their teacher’s scheduled time.  Of course we always encourage parents and students to stay and observe other classes to see the caliber of training offered at Wayne Ballet, and what the future can hold for your performing artist! (Students are required to remain backstage during the actual performance, so dress rehearsal is a great opportunity for them to observe and stay inspired).  Reminder that attendance to dress rehearsal is mandatory, as indicated on the showcase contract form.  Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the dress rehearsal schedule.  We are working on show orders and plan to have them sent out by the end of the weekend… We appreciate your patience!

*Classes within each time slot will not necessarily be run in the order listed, so all students are expected to be ready to take the stage at the beginning of their teacher’s time slot.  If you plan to do costume, hair, and make-up at the theater please allow extra time before the dancer’s time slot for this (for dress rehearsal it is preferable to have hair and make-up done so that students only need to slip on their costume before going on stage).  Although we aim to keep things moving as diligently as possible, times are always approximate… we greatly appreciate your patience on this day!
