Amanda Heineman

Amanda Heineman grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and began her dance training from a young age with McCann’s School of Dance. By age twelve, she was studying both Vaganova and Balanchine technique, as well as contemporary ballet. Amanda has trained in the dance program at the Capital Area School for the Arts in Harrisburg, as well as the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia. She graduated in 2019 from The Rock School’s Professional Division as well as the Rock Academics Program. Amanda has also studied with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet as well as Pennsylvania Ballet Academy. Throughout her studies, Amanda has spent summers at Ballet West, Orlando Ballet and the Rock School. In 2020, she received trainee program offers from Orlando Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet (now Philadelphia Ballet) but had to turn them down due to an injury that ended the professional trajectory of her career. She looks forward to bringing her experience and love for ballet to Wayne Ballet.
